Vioset ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data when you use our service at vioset.com and the Vioset browser extension (together, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, username, and profile photo (if uploaded).
• Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
• Bookmark data: URLs you save, along with page titles, descriptions, images, and the text content of pages you save. This content is captured at the moment you save a bookmark and stored privately in your library so features like search and AI analysis can work.
• AI-generated content: summaries, key takeaways, and tags generated from the content of pages you bookmark (Premium feature).
• Payment information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, for security and debugging purposes.

The Vioset browser extension only reads a page's content when you explicitly save it as a bookmark. It does not track your browsing history and does not collect any data in the background.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service (storing and organizing your bookmarks).
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To generate AI summaries of bookmarked content (Premium feature), using Google Gemini.
• To send essential account emails (verification, password reset) via Resend.
• To improve and secure the Service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Your saved bookmarks and their content are private to your account and are never shared with other users or third parties, except as described in Section 4.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate Vioset:

• Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Google — sign-in (OAuth) and AI content analysis (Gemini).
• Resend — transactional emails (verification, password reset).

We only share the minimum data necessary for each provider to perform its function. We do not sell your data to anyone.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a bookmark permanently removes it, including its saved page content. If you delete your account, all of your data — including bookmarks, saved page content, collections, and tags — is permanently deleted from our database.

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account at any time from your Profile settings. You may delete individual bookmarks and their saved content at any time. If you have questions about your data, contact us at the email below.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management, both on vioset.com and for the browser extension to communicate with your account. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service.
